Birmingham Airport (BHX) has achieved Level 3 (optimisation) of the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) scheme for a second year.

Commenting on the announcement Sir John Peace, Chair of the Midlands Engine said:

The investment will safeguard and create high value jobs in the Midlands and is a vote of confidence in the region’s ability to lead the national challenge of increasing productivity and driving economic growth.
The Midlands is home to a good number of globally successful advanced technology businesses that are supported by strong supply chains and an innovation and research rich industrial and academic culture.
