A new report commissioned by Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) examines the future of workspace in the Greater Birmingham and Solihull area.
The ‘GBSLEP Workspace Study’ outlines a series of recommendations for local decision-makers to consider in developing a coordinated and strategic approach to investing in buildings for businesses in the region.
The report finds that prioritising funding for new incubators, clean lab spaces and Grade-A office space has the potential to drive high-growth sectors, boost supply chains and create employment for local people.
The report also highlights the value of public, private and academic sectors working together to drive sustainable and inclusive economic growth – work LEPs have been undertaking for over a decade.
